Two years ago, the Tennessee Titans finished with the league’s 30th ranked pass defense.
Last season, the Titans finished with the league’s 25th ranked pass defense.
In 2018, however, Tennessee could end up having one of the best secondaries in the league, at least according to the NFL Network.
“We could be looking at one of the best secondaries in the @NFL.”

Titans general manager Jon Robinson has drastically rebuilt the Titans’ secondary over the last two years, adding quality veteran free agents like Johnathan Cyprien, Logan Ryan and Malcolm Butler. Robinson is also responsible for drafting Kevin Byard, LeShaun Sims and Adoree’ Jackson.
That’s an incredible upgrade from a secondary that’s only two years removed from having Valentino Blake in the rotation.
If a team is going to win in the NFL, they better have a good quarterback situation and a solid offensive line.
But having a great secondary is almost as important. A team isn’t going to go very far if they’re consistently giving up big plays in third and long situations.
Thanks to the Titans’ revamped secondary, what was recently a glowing weakness should be a massive strength in 2018.
