Brian Boyle has been a member of the Nashville Predators for less than two weeks, but he’s already highly impressed with Smashville.
The Massachusetts native, who arrived in Nashville via trade on February 6, scored his first goal as a Pred on Thursday night in a much needed 3-1 win against the Montreal Canadiens.

Boyle didn’t hide his appreciate for the incredible fans and atmosphere in Nashville, saying “This is an awesome city to play hockey in”. He also mentioned how loud Bridgestone Arena gets.
“The fans, what they offer, how loud it gets here, it’s an incredible atmosphere.

If he thinks a win in the middle of February was wild, he’s really going to be impressed when the playoffs get started in April.
By the way, Preds coach Peter Laviolette had some great things to say about Boyle after the game.

It appears the deal for Boyle is paying off so far.
