It looks like the Nashville Predators will be without veteran center Mike Fisher for game seven against the Winnipeg Jets on Thursday night.

Fisher didn’t participate in the Preds’ optional morning skate and he reportedly doesn’t have a place in the locker room.

Fisher, who retired after the 2016-17 season, signed a one year contract to return to the Preds in late February.

The soon-to-be 38 year old scored two goals during the regular season for Nashville.

Fisher has scored one goal during the 2017-18 playoffs — a game three goal against the Jets.

The goal, which was Fisher’s first in the playoffs since his famous triple overtime goal against the San Jose Sharks in 2016, was followed by a blatant cheap shot from Tyler Myers.

Fisher is also not listed in the Preds’ projected lineup on Thursday night.
