Multiple Tennessee Vols have entered the NCAA transfer portal according to AL.com SEC football reporter Matt Zenitz.

Redshirt junior offensive lineman Ryan Johnson and true freshman wide receiver Jerrod Means are reportedly looking to transfer, though entering the NCAA portal doesn’t mean a transfer absolutely will happen.

Johnson is a former four-star recruit who started all 12 games as a redshirt sophomore in 2018. The Brentwood native started multiple games for the Vols in 2019. He will be immediately eligible to play as a grad transfer if he leaves Tennessee.

Means is a former three-star recruit from Hampton, GA. The 6-foot-2 true freshman worked some this year at defensive back, but Vols head coach Jeremy Pruitt moved him back to wide receiver in September. Means appeared in five games for Tennessee this season.

Update:

Offensive lineman Marcus Tatum, who played in all 12 games for the Vols this season and started in three games, has also entered the transfer portal, according to 247Sports.

Tatum has one year of eligibility remaining and will be eligible to play immediately as a grad transfer if he leaves Tennessee.
