Titans WR Rishard Matthews has emerged as the team’s top deep target in the passing game. In his first season in Tennessee, Matthews and QB Marcus Mariota have created a dynamic bond instantly.
Matthews, through 13 games, has set career highs in catches (49), yards (695) and touchdowns (7). He leads the Titans in both yards and touchdowns. Matthews is seeing his plan play out exactly as he had hoped when he decided to sign with Tennessee after his first four years in Miami.
The Titans are the beneficiaries as the new-look roster has them battling for the AFC South Title in the middle of December.
