When the Tennessee Titans traded defensive lineman Jurrell Casey to the Denver Broncos for a seventh-round draft pick earlier this year it caught everyone off guard.

No one, however, was as surprised as Casey, a five-time Pro-Bowler who turns 31 in December.

“I did everything you wanted me to do and you throw me like a piece of trash. At the end of the day, none of these businesses are loyal,” said Casey earlier this summer.

The former USC standout will get his opportunity for some revenge. And he’ll get it early this season.

Casey, who has 51 career sacks, will face off against his former team in week one when the Titans visit the Broncos.

And Casey won’t be doing Tennessee any favors.

Casey told reporters this week that he’s going to give the Broncos all the tips and knowledge about the Titans that he can.

It’s hard to blame Casey for going all out to help his new team beat his old team.

Casey did everything right in Nashville. He performed at a high level for nine seasons. He appeared to have plenty left in the tank.

And in week one, the Titans will get to find out exactly how much was left in his tank.
