Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler, who now lives in Nashville, appeared on Barstool Sports’ Pardon My Take podcast on Wednesday and had plenty of great stories to tell.

One of Cutler’s better stories involved the Tennessee Titans and his multiple pre-draft visits with then head coach Jeff Fisher and the team. At the time, the Titans had the No. 3 pick in the draft and everyone under the sun knew they were targeting Texas quarterback Vince Young. But for whatever reason, the Titans still brought Cutler in multiple times.

Here’s Cutler telling the story.

My favorite part of that story is that Fisher didn’t really know why Cutler was there either.

The Denver Broncos ended up selecting Cutler with the No. 11 pick in the draft.

During the interview, Cutler also mentioned that he would’ve considered the Titans had he not re-signed with the Chicago Bears after the 2014 season.

Imagine how that would’ve altered the course of the Titans’ franchise (for better or worse, I don’t know).

Cutler also made a hilarious remark about his decision to sign with the Vanderbilt Commodores out of high school.

Cutler, even in retirement, is definitely living up to his “I don’t care about anything persona”.
