Titans highlights

The Titans escaped a trip to Chicago by beating the Bears 27-21 on Sunday.

Chicago, quarterbacked by Matt Barkley, threatened to take the lead with under a minute to go, but dropped passes from the Bears ended the game. For Titans fans, the fourth quarter was stressful, but the first half was full of highlights.

Titans vs Bears Highlights

The Bears got on the scoreboard first when Barkley threw his first ever career TD pass. It foreshadowed the Titans defensive issues to come later.

Tennessee got a little too exotic on the next drive by using 190 pound wide receiver Kendall Wright as a lead blocker.

No worries though. Derrick Henry finished off this drive with his second career TD. Delanie Walker did a great job springing Henry to the sideline

After a Marcus Mariota to Walker TD, the Bears were on the move again. However, Wesley Woodyard had other ideas.

The PLAY OF THE DAY came right before halftime when Mariota went over the top to Rishard Matthews for their seventh TD hook up of the season. Beautiful throw. Beautiful catch.

Mariota was effective on the ground against Chicago. The “Flyin’ Hawaiian” ran four times for 46 yards, including this 29 yard run. The drive ended with a Ryan Succop field goal.
