Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs is as close to a superhero as you can get.
Dobbs was not only a wizard on the field during his time at Tennessee (he essentially saved Butch Jones’ job for a couple of years), but he was also brilliant off the field. The Georgia native majored in aerospace engineering at UT.
And let’s not forget that Dobbs, who was selected in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, is also an incredible humanitarian.
A friendship that transcends football.

But there are, apparently, some limits to what Dobbs can do.
For example, he probably doesn’t have a future as a meteorologist.
Dobbs recently had the opportunity to play weatherman on WATE in Knoxville and his performance probably won’t be described by anyone as “smooth”.
.@josh_dobbs1 said he’d be a weatherman if he worked in news…we gave him an audition.

It’s only fair that someone as talented as Dobbs (in seemingly all aspects as life) has something he’s not great at. But then again, give him a couple of months and he’d probably be the top meteorologist in the state of Tennessee.
