We continue the AFC South Top 50 with players number 20 through 11.

  1. The rankings are based mostly on 2018 projection. Production during the 2017 season does matter, but it didn’t hold a gun to my head. And yes, rookies are allowed.
  2. Value of position wasn’t a huge factor (i.e. a wide receiver can be ranked ahead of a quarterback).
  3. Injuries were taken into account, but didn’t prevent players from appearing high on the list.

Delanie Walker isn’t your traditional football player.

He spent the majority of his 20s playing a limited role for the San Francisco 49ers. Once he transitioned to the Titans in 2013, he’s been one of the league’s most productive tight ends.

  • 2006-2012: 123 receptions, 1,465 yards, 8 touchdowns
  • 2013-2017: 356 receptions, 4,156 yards, 26 touchdowns

Despite being 33 years of age and entering a contract season, Walker remains one of the division’s elite players.
