New England Patriots:
The Vanderbilt prospect has met with the Patriots twice throughout the draft process — a private visit and a private workout.
Vanderbilt CB Joejuan Williams improved his 40 time at his pro day (4.55), and is getting significant interest as a result. #Patriots have worked him out twice including an official visit. Belichick on hand for both. He’s also worked out for the #Falcons and #Cowboys already.

The Patriots have a good one-two punch at cornerback with Stephon Gilmore and Jason McCourty, but the team could improve their depth. In today’s passing oriented league, it helps to have as many capable defensive backs as possible.
New England’s pass defense was in the bottom half of the league last season, allowing 246 yards per game through the air.
