2021 four-star quarterback Christian Veilleux revealed his top four schools on Sunday and the Tennessee Vols made the cut.
Veilleux, 6-foot-3/201 lbs from Potomac, MD, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 13 player in the state of Maryland and the No. 15 pro-style quarterback in the nation.
The highly touted quarterback also included Clemson, Duke and Penn State in his top four.

Veilleux told Rivals that he included the Vols among his top schools because he thinks “the offensive staff is great”.
“Coach Chaney, Coach Wenike, and Coach Osovet have been in contact with me a lot and I feel like I’ve talked to a lot of people that have had positive things to say about them”, said Veilleux on Sunday. The four-star recruit added “Coach Chaney definitely has a track record that few people can match. I feel like what they’re building has a lot of potential.”
Rivals noted that Penn State is perceived by many as the current favorites to land Veilleux.
Of course, recruiting is aways fluid. All it takes is one conversation to change everything.
Veilleux said he was planning to commit in May or June, but the recruiting shutdown due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak has likely pushed those plans back.
